I’m Ricky. I am a smart dog. I always do what the musher tells me to do. I think that is why they like me to run in lead. I don’t cause any problems. I like to run. I like the snow too. Whenever we stop, I stick my head down in the snow. I like to eat snow. I am really good at following directions. I get along with most of the dogs. You can pet me if you want, I don’t care. Some dogs go crazy when they get attention from people. I can take it or leave it. I just like to run.

This week we had to run past two guys who were filming us. They set the camera really close to the trail and told us to run past. Some dogs were curious and wanted to run into the camera, but not me. I kept the team on track! I lost count of how many times we ran past the camera. Every time, I kept the team going straight. Seriously, I’m a good lead dog.
