Hi! Hi! Please pay attention to me! Hi! I’m going to bark and bark until you come over and pet me or put my harness on. I’m ready to go. Always ready! My bark sounds kind of like I’m talking. It is sort of a cross between a bark and a howl. Here, I’ll type it out for you, “awoo aoo ao”. I make that noise a lot.
I know a trick. The guides taught my brother (Odin) and me this trick when we were little. I still remember. I’m so smart. No other sled dogs know how to do this! If you tell me to sit, I will actually sit. This might not sound like a big deal, because a lot of pet dogs know how to sit. Sled dogs don’t learn this command usually. We learn all the dogsledding commands and no one bothers to teach us how to sit. Odin and I are special sled dogs because we know how to sit. Go ahead, tell me how to sit! Sit, Romeo, sit.
