This is a rock. To be more specific, it is granite. This granite cliff is near Crocket Lake. There is actually a cave in the rock that was formed by water getting into cracks in the rock and freezing and thawing over many years. Did you know that granite is igneous rock? It forms from the slow crystallization of magma below Earth’s surface.
