Who should attend: This training is geared towards teachers, media specialists, technology coordinators, curriculum specialists, librarians, and other educators working with 3rd through 8th grade students.

Join Wilderness Classroom and Shedd Aquarium for a workshop that will help you and your students study aquatic and terrestrial environments throughout North America. Learn exciting new ways to study the Pacific Northwest, the Great Lakes, mangroves, salt marshes, coral reefs, and more.

Plus, you will learn how your class can use the Internet to interact with workshop hosts, Dave and Amy Freeman on their 12,000-mile journey across North America by canoe, kayak and dogsled. Specifically, you will learn how your students can learn along with them as they explore the East Coast of the United States from New York City to the Florida Keys.

The workshop includes a variety of teaching materials for you to take home courtesy of Wilderness Classroom and you will receive 2 CPDUs.
